Discussion over at Story Games got me thinking about this. My first knee jerk was "no, not so much pacing as pressure", but then I stepped back and thought about how games play out. And it does do pacing, I think. High-trust relationships can be left to simmer. Low-Trust ones either consume resources (screen time) or burn out. Or maybe I'm not thinking about it the right way.
Any comments from the assembled multitudes?
